Salman Khan Kick Movie Review and Rating

First thing first: Salman Khan movies are critic-proof! No matter how much the naysayers frown, slam or berate him for opting for remakes over originals and using his superstardom to push through a harebrained 'Bhai' flick as a superhit, there is no denying that he is the Pied Piper of Hindi cinema, the star who sets the screen ablaze with his sheer presence and entertainment, entertainment and more entertainment. And Salman's newest outing is no different. A remake of Telugu namesake blockbuster “Kick”, the movie spells hit from the very first frame. So is “Kick” a Blockbuster material? Indeed!

Analysis :

 Kick-review

Sajid Nadiadwala ventures into direction with larger-than-life “Kick”. And while he borrows his story from the South, he seems clearly inspired from the West in his execution of it.

“Kick” combines visual brilliance with several knockout episodes. Sajid and his team of writers offer the astute viewers an experience they haven't had this far. The frantic twists and turns in the storyline offer the audience that extra dose of entertainment that makes “Kick” a kickass entertainer.

This big ticket movie has the magnificence, a larger-than-life extravaganza that makes every frame appears luminous, tasteful and eye-catching. From spectacular locales of Warsaw to the classy sets to the high-octane stunts, action and chases, the film looks truly international.

The dialogues are clapworthy and so are the stunts. On the flipside, the romantic track, in the second hour specifically, could've been more persuasive. The first part could have been tighter and the songs, better placed.

Performance :

Kick -review

Salman is the mind, body and soul of “Kick”. He's so excellent that it's difficult to take your eyes off him. The film to Salman's superstardom. To cut short, Salman's fans and fanatics are in for a treat!

Randeep Hooda delivers efficiently. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is outstanding and is sure to walk away with plaudits for his exceptional performance as the baddie.

Jacqueline Fernandez looks great and dances well.

The supporting cast Saurabh Shukla, Sanjay Mishra, Vipin Sharma, Archana Puransingh, Kavin Dave , Sumona Chakravarti contribute well to the proceedings.

Final Word:

Kick Hindi Movie Review “Kick” is an out-and-out a paisa vasool, seeti-maar entertainer. It is sure to create a new box-office history. Salman fans, rejoice. “Kick” is indeed a B-L-O-C-K-B-U-S-T-E-R!
